Kim Chae Won is a South Korean artist and former member of the defunct group IZ*ONE. She is managed by Woollim Entertainment. She joined a survival show called Produce 48 and ended up debuting as the 10th member of the girl group IZ*ONE. Kim attends Hanlim Multi Art School. She trained for 11 months. She is the daughter of theater actress Lee Ran Hee.

IZ*ONE was officially disbanded on April 29, 2021.

On March 14, 2022, a representative of Source Music, which is part of HYBE Labels, announced that Kim Chae Won has signed an exclusive contract with the agency.
