Jin Uk is a South Korean trot singer and musical actor. He appeared with a minor role in the drama "Taejo Wang Geon" when he was 9 years old and later had a few more appearances in other dramas or movies. In 2002, he won the 9th Nam In Soo Song Festival Youth Category Grand Prize and released his 1st album "The Woman in My Dreams". After that, he nearly disappeared from the industry for several years while he attended school, only appearing in a minor role and singing an OST for "Father And Son: The Story Of Mencius". He reappeared after being discharged from his mandatory military service and helping his family when he entered "Mr. Trot 2" in 2022. He impressed the judges with his soft vocals and creativity as he set up the choreography and stage for the group performance in the 2nd round. He finished in 6th place.
